Welcome to the Southern Tasmanian Kart Club!

Please note that the track will be CLOSED:
  • Sorry for the late notice but the track that is booked for a Corporate Day this weekend is now on SUNDAY 19 FEBRUARY 2012 from 9am until 1pm. Not sure who the booking is for but this was arranged through Peter Fitzpatrick. There is also a booking that happens every Friday for Mission Australia - based on last Friday when they turned up I am guessing it is for the morning only.

    Transponders at Club Days
written by Kristopher Hen on Jun 25 2011 10:12PM

We will be attempting to use the timing system at Club Days from this point forward. Please note that this does require some extra work for those in the tower who need to manage the timing system on the day. In addition, we also need to use two laptops to accomplish this task, as we still manual lap score all drivers so that grid sheets and results can be properly recorded for all participants on the day.

Due to the above, we may not be able to do this every club day, but we will be making an effort to do so.

AKA Licence Information - For all licenced members to read
written by Kristopher Hen on Jun 25 2011 10:11PM

We understand that there are some members whose licences have been coming up as expired on the AKA computer system as of late. It is very important that we are able to prove you are licenced for us to be able to let you race. As we move forward with these issues, we ask that all members carry proof of payment for both their licence and membership. If anybody wouuld like a copy of a receipt for their licence, or have any enquires regarding your licence, please contact the State Licencing Officer, Marlene Madden on:

  • ph: 6239 0296
  • mob: 0418 884 340
  • email: dandmmadden@aapt.net.au
  • For membership enquires, please contact Paul Goodluck on

  • mob: 0417 341 514
  • email: pgoodluck@bigpond.com
  • Please note if you are not a member, or are not licenced on the day and can pay it on the spot, we CAN let you race.

Unfortunately, if the computer system tells us you are not a member or are not licenced, and you cannot prove so, and/or cannot pay, we cannot let you race.

Pets not allowed at the STKC Complex
written by Kristopher Hen on Jun 25 2011 10:04PM

Please note that pets are not allowed in the STKC complex. This is because the pit area and associated complex area is dangerous, and pets could be injured, or cause injury by accident. The only exception to this are guide dogs.

    We apologise for any incovenience.
